LWV Bay Area Annual Meeting

Time: 9:30 am - noon

Join us for our annual business meeting where we enjoy a delicious catered brunch, take care of business, (elect officers, approve a budget and program) set priorities, and celebrate the past year. Our featured speaker will be Theresa Morris of Turtle Island Restoration Network. Morris will speak on plastics and micro plastics in our ocean.

  • LWV Bay Area Discussion Meeting

    Other Details: Join us as we gather for the second of two meetings this spring covering timely issues critical to fair and representative government: Redistricting and Gerrymandering. Check out the February or March VOTER for details.

  • CCISD Candidates Forum

    Location: CCISD Education Support Center
    Other Details: We will be sponsoring a candidates forum for the CCISD school board election along with the Clear Creek Community Council of PTAs and CASE. The League facilitated event will allow citizens to ask questions of candidates and hear their responses on issues facing CCISD.

  • LWV-Texas Convention
    Date: April 27-29, 2018
    Location: Inn of the Hills, Kerrville
    Other Details: Several of us are planning to attend as we begin the celebration of the Texas League turning 100 in 2019. Check out the VOTER for more details.
