League of Women Voters of the Bay Area

Register to Vote sign and an American flag

There is no other organization quite like the League of Women Voters. Female or male, young or experienced, too busy to help or looking for a way to get involved - all of us help promote the informed and active participation of citizens in government. That's what makes democracy work! The League of Women Voters of the Bay Area, founded in 1967, takes our mission seriously and works very hard to fulfill our charge. We are primarily known for our work in voters service - registering people to vote, distributing thousands of Voters Guides, and hosting candidates forums. We also educate ourselves and the community on timely issues through discussion meetings. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrar Training

Tuesday, July 17, 2018

4:00 - 5:00

In preparation for our voter registration drives to be held at CCISD high schools this fall, we will be hosting two volunteer deputy voter registrar trainings. One is scheduled for Tuesday, July 17, from 4:00-5:00 at the Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library. The other will be held in August 15 (date and time to be confirmed) at the library in Friendswood. You can attend either training – it doesn’t matter what county you reside in. Once you are deputized for one county it is a simple process to get certified for another county.
